He is survived by: his wife LuAnne Ekern; his children, Jenny Dunaway (Eric), Erin Connolly (Justin) and Chad Ekern (Barbara); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Khanye, Ty, Sam, Miles, Jack, Drew, Amelia and Claire; and his siblings, Betty Ekern (Bob Johnson) and Robert "Harvey" Ekern.
