She is survived by: her children, Gale Ekern of Rock City and Gina Ekern of Longmont, Colorado; her grandchildren, Jordan Ekern (Brian) of Safety Harbor, FL, Morgan Ekern of Minneapolis, Garrett Ekern of Minneapolis and Gillian Burling of Minneapolis; and her great grandchildren, Grace Ekern-Bonistalli and Emilia Ekern-Bonistalli.
