He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Bakkestuen and Caroline Bakkestuen; and his fiancée Denise Rundhaugen. He is survived by: his former wife Tammy Yanske; his children, Adam Bakkestuen (Beverly) of Westby, Ryan Bakkestuen (Brianna Miller) of Westby and Brittany Wilson (Corey) of Peoria, AZ; his sister Cherlyn Johnson (Bryce) of McCormick; and his grandchildren, Dakota, Mason, Owen, Aubrey Bakkestuen and Jett Wilson (Jenny Wuolle). He is also survived by niece, nephew, many friends, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a charity of choice.
