She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Bruring and Louise Bruring; her husband Lester Gilbertson; and her brothers, Donald, Thomas and Richard Bruring.
She is survived by: her children, Ina Cunningham of Delavan, WI, Karl Gilbertson (Bonnie) of Viroqua, WI and Curtis Gilbertson (Gloria) of Northfield, MN.; and her grandchildren, Ryan Johnson, Sonya Gilson (Mike), Gena Gilbertson, Chad Gilbertson (Anne) and Maren Bahler (Zach).
Memorials may be made to the Coon Valley Lutheran Church.
