She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Ness and Louise Van Ness; and her brother David Van Ness (Faye). She is survived by: her former husband Roger Nelson; her husband Manfred Schonauer; her brother Tim Van Ness (Nancy); her children, Wendy Yoakum (Mort) of Moran, WY, Penny Willis (David) of Lino Lakes, MN, Brent Nelson (Shelli) of Bloomington, MN and Brian Nelson (Laura) of Minneapolis, MN; and her grandchildren, Vanessa, Bethany and Connor.
