He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Ron; his friend Chuck DeHaan; his parents, Clyde Ecker and Mary Ecker; his son Jerry Ecker; his brothers, James Rinenock (Mary), Larry Ecker (Melba) and Ted Ecker (Annabelle); his wife Carolyn Ecker (VanVleet); his children, Randy Ecker (Joanne), Chris Strom (Harold), Brenda Norton (Mike) and Dave Ecker; and his brother Louis Ecker. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
