He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Zappa and Esther Zappa; and his brothers, Eugene Zappa and Mike Zappa. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kohn (Comstock); his children, Brian Zappa (Sandra) and Sandra Pizzuti (Kevin Johnson); his grandchildren, Trisha Andrews (Neal), Travis Zappa, Dominic Pizzuti, Anthony Pizzuti and Nicco Pizzuti; his great grandchild Mia Andrews; and his sisters, Esther Zappa, Janice Flores, Kathy Zappa and Diane Barr.
