It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Underwood of Combined Locks, Wisconsin, born in Iroquois, South Dakota, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Underwood (James); her parents, Ray Miller and Irene Miller; her mother-in-law Leota Underwood; her brother Howard Miller (Donna Miller); her brother-in-law Don Wiley; and her niece Sandy Casey.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Tim; her children, Greg Underwood (Lisa), Cheryl Dotterweich (Dennis Blair) and Lisa Converse (Tim) of Combined Locks; her grandchildren, James Converse, Ryan Converse (Rachel Shanahan), Erin Underwood, Rachael Underwood and Jason Dotterweich; and her sister Betty Wiley of Rapid City, SD.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Theda Care Appleton 8th floor as they could be with Shirley due to COVID restrictions, which made it impossible for her family to be by her side.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Fox Valley Humane Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
