He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Litscher and Geane Litscher Jr. (Luedtke); his parents-in-law, Rosemary and Robert Kappell; his sister Sherry Van Dyn Hoven; his siblings-in-law, Rich Kappell and Tracy Kappell; and his nephew Tom Litscher.
He is survived by: his wife Roseann Kappell (Rony); his children, Chad Litscher (Kayla Sprangers) and Kaylie Dux (Evan); his brother Jim Litscher (Kathy); his brothers-in-law, Doug Van Dyn Hoven and Ray Kappell; and his nieces and nephews, Tim Litscher (Kat), Tyler Litscher, Traci Balts (Kyle), Nick Kappell and Lindsay Kappell (Jeff Hope). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
