She was predeceased by: her parents, George Roovers and Myrtle Roovers (Reynebeau); her brother Greg Roovers; and her mother-in-law Dorothy Schmidt. She is survived by: her husband Mike Schmidt; her sons, Riley Ristau and Alrik Ristau; her stepdaughters, Nicole Rhode, Michelle Gremore (Jeremy) and Kaitlyn Schmidt (Zeek); her grandchildren, Avralena, Wesley, Nora and Audrey; her siblings, Tim Roovers (Sandie), Jim Roovers (Cheryl), Mattie Merkl (Tim) and Steve Roovers (Kathy); and her father-in-law Robert Schmidt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many wonderful friends.
