He is survived by: his children, James Van Handel, Janet Drossart (Gale) and Jeff Van Handel (Jane); his grandchildren, Sam Van Handel (Allison), Rob Van Handel (Jessa), Jenna Mitchler (Tyler), Lisa Frey (John) and John Drossart (Amber Auld); his great grandchildren, Christian, Blake, Logan Ivol, Benjamin, Jacob, Caleb and Emma Ivol; and his siblings, Donald Van Handel (Marge), Laurie DuChateau and Joyce Williamson.
