He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Helf and Selma Helf; his wife Sharon; and his siblings, Robert, Jim, Richard, Jr. and Janet Borree.
He is survived by: his children, William Gerald, Lisa (David), Ison of Isom, KY, Rhonda (Scott), Spiess of Colfax, WI and Gerald, Jr. (Brittany) of Greenville, WI; his grandchildren, Zeke Maggard (Bailey Ruth) of Golden, CO, Sierra, Savannah Spiess of Colfax, WI and Hayden Gurga of Greenville, WI; and his siblings, Tom (Judy) of Kaukauna, WI and Nancy of Hilton Head, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
