It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Smith of Combined Locks, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Smith and Anna Smith (Schmidt); his parents-in-law, Leonard and Elnora Desens; his brothers-in-law, John Smits and Byron Desens; and his niece Sandra Bast.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Desens; his children, Jill Schaumberg (Paul) and Michael Smith; his grandchildren, Courtney and Matthew Schaumberg; his sisters, Elizabeth Smits, Mary Jo and Theresa Smith; his niece Kristie Smits; his nephew James Smits; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Riske (Don), Chong Desens, Gloria Larsen (Jim), Carol Hammen (Dave), Dennis (Debra) and Gerald Desens (Joanne). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
