He is survived by: his wife Mary Promer; his children, Brian Van Asten, Ray Van Asten (Vicki), Diane Huebner, Duane Biesterveld and Dana Nicholson (Olando); his grandchildren, Natalie, Katelyn, Elizabeth, Luciana, Lexi and Alex; his siblings, Nancy Janssen (Charlie), Leon Biesterveld (Carolyn), Ben Biesterveld (Cindy), Sherrie Hoelzel (Ken), Cindy Baehman (Pete) and Todd Biesterveld (Lisa Hietpas); his sister-in-law Theresa Biesterveld; and his pet Princess. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
