He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hey and Doris Vande Hey (Kelly); and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Vande Hey (Connie) of Columbus and Laura Vande Hey of Madison; his grandchildren, Emma Andreasson (Julian Boucher), Oskar Andreasson, Jake Podrasky, Lauren Stebbins (Brandon) and Peyton Podrasky (Abigail); his great grandchildren, Teagan, Nora, Lydia, Piper and Maverick; and his sisters, Cathy Stowers (Bill) of Merrimac and Deborah Derth (Nick) of Monroe. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
