He was predeceased by: his parents, John Moungey and Alma Moungey (Paske); his wife Barb; and his siblings, Iva Zielke, Eunice Wood, Donald Moungey, Glen Moungey, Delores Solberg, Pearl Schroeder, Julias Moungey and Elmer Moungey.

He is survived by: his children, Michelle Schoenherr (Matt) of Sun Prairie, Heather Kopfer (James) of Columbus and Corey Moungey (Shannon) of Janesville; his grandchildren, Mariah Blair (Alex), Sam Brandenburg, Dayne Kopfer (Kaylie), Sydney Brandenburg, Kailey Schoenherr, Audra Kopfer and Tyler Moungey; his sister Pat Larrabee-Zastrow (Larry) of Helenville; and his siblings-in-law, Donna (Fischer) and Jim Larrabee of Waterloo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
