We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2020, at the age of 96, Veronica Helwig of Columbus, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis and Christina Trapp (Freidel); her husband Ernst Helwig; her daughter Marianne; and her siblings, Willis, Rupert and Florence Frederick.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Bleich, David Helwig (Ann), Pam Williams (Trent) and Pat; and her sister Lucetta Hall. She is also survived by six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; as well as other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed to Prairie Ridge Health Center in Columbus or to the Columbus Nursing and Rehab Center.
