He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Weiner and Emma Weiner (Sime); his siblings, Robert, Henry, Kathleen Kujawa and Mary; and his parents-in-law, Edwin and Helen Schmitt.

He is survived by: his wife Lucy Schmitt of Sun Prairie; his children, Debbie Weiner of Pewaukee, Diane Hayden (Dan) of Delafield, Lisa of Salem, Laurie Laubenheimer (Gary) of Colgate and Dennis Weiner (Diane) of Randolph; his grandchildren, Chris Hayden, David Hayden, Eric Laubenheimer, Adam Laubenheimer (Alexus Madge), Austin Weiner and Blake Weiner; his great grandchild Willa Laubenheimer; and his siblings, Gerald Weiner (Joyce), Philip Weiner (Nancy) and Monica Anderson (Robert). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Due to the pandemic, a celebration of Roger's life will be held when it is safe to gather.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Roger's name may be directed to the Columbus Area Senior Center, Prairie Ridge Health (formerly Columbus Community Hospital) or St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Columbus.
