We bid farewell to Mary L. Derr of Columbus, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 1, 2025 at the age of 94. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Monson and Gladys Monson; her husband Donald A. Derr; her brother Rodney Monson; and her siblings-in-law, Terry Monson, Carol Monson, Marjorie Henriksen, Thomas Hughes, Orvil Henriksen, Donald Severson, Robert McNulty and James Norman.
She is survived by: her children, James Derr (Emmer Capadona) of Pleasant Hill, CA, Marcia Derr of Boulder, CO, Barbara Ginzburg (Enrique) of Miami Beach, FL, Nancy Knoeck (Chuck) of Wausau, WI, Michael Derr (Lisa) of Beaver Dam, WI, Gerald Derr (Bonni Brown) of Beaver Dam, WI and John Derr (Mary Anne) of Fountain Hills, AZ.; her sisters-in-law, Norene Norman of Fall River, WI, Mary Ann Severson of Columbus, WI, Evelyn McNulty of Columbus, WI and Marlene Widdel (Ron) of Westlake Village, CA; her friend Charlie Johnson of Columbus, WI; and her grandchildren, Nate Knoeck (Taylor), Matt Knoeck, Eric Ginzburg, Kyle Ginzburg, Nick Derr, Alex Derr, Paul Derr, Jacob Derr, Adam Derr, Ben Diener and Livia Diener.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (1550 Farnham St, Columbus, WI 53925). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to either St. Jerome Church or to your charity of choice.
