She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Henry August; her son John Edward; her sisters, Nancy Dee Erday and Mary Elizabeth Burrus Fidler; her children, Henry Jewett Elling (Cathy), Suzanne Alms (Gregory) and Kurt August Elling (New York City); her daughter-in-law Kerry Elling; her grandchildren, Amanda, Ajax, Emma, Hannah, Henry Craig, Katie, Lillie, Luiza, Mitchell, Natalie and Rebecca; her great grandchild Miriam Louise Rudy; and also H. J. Elling.
