With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lorraine Broske in Columbus, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lorraine left this world on March 22, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Buechler and Nettie Buechler; her husband James; her daughter Karen Foster; her sons-in-law, Steven Foster and Calvin Ward; and her brother Larry Buechler.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Broske (Jerry Dunbar), Cheryl Legler (Roger), Roberta Nelson (Mark), Dale Broske (Ann), Donald Broske (Sherry), David Broske (Terry), Sandi D'Antoni and Nancy Ward; and her grandson Bob Lewin. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Mother of Consolation Catholic Church (651 N Main St, Oregon, WI 53575). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gunderson Oregon Funeral & Cremation Care (1150 Park St, Oregon, WI 53575).
