He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Linde and Alma Linde (Lienke); and his brother Merlin Lienke. He is survived by: his wife Evangeline Berg of Columbus; his children, Karen Schmidt of Beaver Dam and Bruce Linde (Cindy) of Arlington, TX; his stepson Daniel Wendtland (Jeanne) of DeForest; his grandchildren, Kimberly Koehn, Ryan Koehn (Emma), Brittany Cromwell (Anmar), Kyla Linde (Joel Sievert), Shea Pisano (Travis), Jake Wendtland (Brian Grill), Jack Wendtland (Jennifer) and Kristi Wendtland; and his great grandchildren, Henry Koehn, Ismae Cromwell, Perrin Cromwell, Cole Wendtland and Dawson Wendtland. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made at Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus or the charity of one's choice.
