With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Van Roo of Columbus, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roo (Bud) and Mary Van Roo (Ike); his son Mark Thomas Van Roo; his siblings, Richard Van Roo and Ruth Coffey; his brother-in-law Charles Roske; and his parents-in-law, Earl and Gertrude Roske.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene Van Roo of Columbus; his children, Mike Van Roo (Rosemary) of Diamond Bar, CA and Anje Van Roo of Minnetonka, MN; his siblings, Mary Van Roo of Waunakee, WI, Jane Crawley (Steve) of Highland, IL and Pete Van Roo (Jean) of Janesville, WI; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Quale (Dick) of McFarland, WI and Gwyn Roske of Tucson, AZ.; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Anthon (Eric), Jon Van Roo, Bart Van Roo (Laura), Ben Van Roo (Annie), Andrew Van Roo (Tresa), Ryan Van Roo (Laura), Becky Doerr (Brett), Stephanie Crawley, Jim Crawley, Scott Blank (Teri), Luke Roske (Andrea) and Rachel Roske.
