She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schmitt and Gertrude Schmitt (Link); her husband Phillip; her siblings, Lucille Ausman and Bernard Schmitt; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Ausman and Dorothy Schmitt.
She is survived by: her son James Hermanson of Middleton; and her sister Virginia "Ginny" Volpano (Bill) of DePere. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
