He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Griese and Elsie Griese (Lenz); and his sister Lucille Lischka. He is survived by: his wife Gerry; his children, Mary Bailey (Duane) of Fitchburg, Ann Schade (Rick) of Cottage Grove, Jane Braatz (Gary) of Poynette, Jolene Lang (Paul Norris) of Port Washington, Pete Griese (Lynda) of Columbus and Paul Griese (Jody) of Durham, CT; his grandchildren, MJ, Aerial Bailey, Hewan, Berhan Schade, Christopher (Sophie), Cameron Braatz, Anna Lang, Kelsey, Karrie Griese and Kate Griese; and his great grandchildren, Tre Poe and Zaydeon Swenson.
