He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sanden and Marie Vander Sanden (Van Ryen); and his brothers, David and Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Joy Galston (Church) of Columbus; his children, Rhonda Carroll (Bill) of Estacada, OR, Patrick Vander Sanden (Kristin) of Columbus and Michael Vander Sanden (Missy); his sister Catherine Ballweg of Columbus; his grandchildren, Andrew, Jamie, Kasey Reese, Grace, Trent Vander Sanden, Maggie, Jack, Will and Sam Vander Sanden; and his pet Dolly. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
