He was predeceased by: his father Walter Allen; and his nephew Bobby Birschbach. He is survived by: his children, Tim Kind and Courtney Blank; his grandson Tristan; his mother Jacqueline "Jackie" Allen (Sullivan); his siblings, David Allen (Gloria), Wanda Birschbach (Marty) and Vicki Preissner (Tom); and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Wortham, Tricia Hambly, Angela Ludvik (Andy), Erin Green, Eric Preissner and Jessica Preissner. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
