She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harvey A. Slater and Emma Slater (Bandt); her former husband Ken Richards; and her spouse Merle Hilgert. She was also cherished by ses five foster children and their families; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be given to Calvary United Methodist Church, Coloma or Grace United Methodist Church, Wautoma.
