He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Riemer and Selma Riemer (Braun); his wife Dayna Lou Schmidt; his brother Harold Riemer; and his mother-in-law Esther Schmidt (Habermann).
He is survived by: his brother Howard Riemer (Beverly); his siblings-in-law, Jacqueline Kriescher and Kenton Schmidt (Mary Ann); his niece Wanda Schmitz (Alan); and also Wendy Schaefer (Doug). He is also survived by several godchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, Collins.
