He is survived by: his child Kai; his parents, Sheryl DeGeorge and Nick DeGeorge; his siblings, Kady Gerhart (Garth) and Troy DeGeorge (Kelly); and his grandparent Arlene DeGeorge. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the education of his son Kai are appreciated.
