He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Mayer and Frank Mayer; his wife Nancy R. Mayer; his brother Robert Mayer; and his siblings-in-law, Deloris Huston (Bill), Lloyd Hawkins (June), Mary Alice Fitzpatrick and Robert Hawkins.
He is survived by: his sons, George Mayer (Georgia) and Mike Mayer (Denise Todd); his grandchildren, Marshall Mayer Sr. (Veronica), Dean Mayer and Angela Mayer; his great grandchildren, Ethan James Mayer and Marshall Gene Mayer Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Reidun Mayer and Pat Fitzpatrick.
