He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hoveland and Margaret Hoveland (Hansen); his siblings, Kenneth, Orville, Algene, Sylvester, Carol, Ilene, Aldred and Yvonne; his siblings-in-law, Talvin Gunderson, Duard Dalhoe and Lois Hoveland; his nephew Paul Hoveland; and also Paul Hoveland.
He is survived by: his wife Ardys Hoveland; his brother-in-law Bill Muermann; and also, Larry Israels, Richard Dalhoe, Richard Maukstad, Dale Knutson and Debra Dalhoe Johns. He is also survived by 35 nieces and nephews.
