He was predeceased by: his daughter Kay Squires; his siblings, Wallace Mittelstadt and Darlene Lewis; and his grandson Tyler Mittelstadt. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Topping; his children, Rolland Jr. (Mary) and Barbara Mittelstadt; his grandchildren, Shanna Hoffman (Nathan), Kyle Secraw (Brittany), Derrick Mittelstadt (Katie), Kirk Secraw (Becca) and Logan Mittelstadt (Alyssa Goode); his great grandchildren, Clayton, Emilyn, Etta, Theo, Beau, Louie, Calvin, Cora, Kalvin, Rory and Mollie; his siblings, Duane, Derald Mittelstadt (Sue), Donna Mae Bruha and Diane Bleskacek; and his son-in-law Duane Squires.
