With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Le Roy Nelson of Colfax, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Johnson; his daughter Sally Tschumperlin; his grandson Jacob Hanson; his brothers, LaVerne Nelson (Ardis), Charles Nelson (Ruth), Ardell Nelson and Warren Nelson; and his brother-in-law Floyd Austin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Hanson (Ronald) of Lacey, WA, Nancy Hanson (Wayne) of Strum and Sandra Lewon (Matthias) of Prairie Farm; his sister Betty Austin of DeKalb, IL; his sisters-in-law, Sue Johnson of Aurora, IL and Judy Nelson of Whitehall; and his son-in-law Robert Tschumperlin. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
