He is survived by: his wife Bonnie of New Auburn; his children, Michael Peterson (Natalia) of White Bear, MN, Barbara Van Doorn (Corky) of Tony, WI, Karen Fetterly (Ken) of Spring Valley, MN, Joel Smith (Karen) of Sand Creek, WI and Amy Smith of Washington, DC; his grandchildren, Adam, Tanya, Nicole, Nathan, Jack, Nolan, Ryan and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Torphin and James.
