He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilmer Freeberg and Olga Freeberg; and his brothers, Garfield, Marvin, Harlyn, Robert and Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Seehaver of Colfax; his children, Christie Michels of Colfax, Paul Freeberg (Vicki) of Colfax, Suzanne Rowan (Tim) of Menomonie and David Freeberg (Heidi) of New Auburn; and his grandchildren, Chism Michels (Jaime), Logan, Samm Michels, Jennifer Freeberg, Jessica Johnson (Bill), Dalton, Konner Rowan, Johann Freeberg (Whitney), Bjorn, Jorgan, Terje Freeberg, Karl Freeberg (Hannah) and Zakary Pieters. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
