She was predeceased by: her parent Elwyen Marek. She is survived by: her mother LuLu Marek; her husband Bill "Bo"; her daughter Chynna Brochtrup (Kevin); her stepchildren, Derek Olson (Lisa), Elizabeth Kindt (Klayton) and Darren Olson (Jessica); her grandchildren, Korbin, Konrad, Danica, Lyla, Oliver and Myles; and her siblings, Barbara Kleifgen (Nick), Steve Marek (Ferry) and Jim Marek (Cheryl). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic the family has decided to postpone the celebration of Mary's life until the safer at home order has lifted.
