He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb Gannigan and Alice Gannigan of Coleman; his brother Terry Gannigan; his brother-in-law Richard Anderson; and his great-nephew Jack Gannigan.

He is survived by: his wife Avis; his daughters, Jennifer Klimek (Kevin) and Lisa Seefeldt (Ken); his grandchildren, Cade Klimek (Mikayla Reek), Kailey Klimek, Cole Klimek (Chloe Halford), Austin Seefeldt (Rebekah), Megan Seefeldt and Max Seefeldt; his sister Yvonne Zempel (Dean); and his sisters-in-law, Pam Gannigan and Lois Anderson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Ev. Lutheran Church (N1926 Church Rd, Peshtigo, WI 54157). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
