He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Patz and Gustie Patz (Heisel); his daughters, Cindy Patz, Melissa Patz and Bonnie Patz; his siblings, Alma Wittenberg and Richard Patz; and his siblings-in-law, Loretta Patz, Robert Wendlick and Douglas Utz.
He is survived by: his wife Ione Wiltshire; his children, Pattie Baer (Mike), Julie Patz, Tracy Lentz (Chase) and Steven Patz; and his siblings, Marvin Patz (Peggy), Ralph Patz, Alvin Patz, Gordon Patz (Sandy), Emily Patz, Violet Patz and Ruth Pillath (Jerry). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
