He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brosig and Margaret Brosig (Thomson); his wife Joann "Jo" Martens; and his brothers-in-law, Reinhardt Wagner and Alan Salewski.
He is survived by: his children, Shelley Johnson (Jay), Tom Brosig (Judy), Mary Jo Wolf (Barth) and Jackie Geyer (Merle); his siblings, Marlene Wagner, Donna Salewski and John; his sister-in-law Diane Brosig; and his niece Jeannie Jo Phillips. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Old Glory Honor Flight or the American Legion Kalbes-Seewald Post 280 of Coleman in Gary's name.
