He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Carow (Jean), Dennis Carow (Sue), David Carow (Mary) and Ken Carow (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Kimberly Schowalter, Bob Preisler (Sharon), Christopher Carow, Bryanne Fountain, Greg Carow (Jean), Matt Carow (Karen), Cameron Carow, Ryan Carow (Jenn), Aaron Carow (Tia), Josh Carow (Emily) and Jackie Wright (Levi); and his sister Darlene Birdeau (Gene).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for the Carow Scholarship Fund at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.
