We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2023, at the age of 92, Caroline E. Tackmier of Coleman, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Behnke and Elsie Behnke (Juedes). She is survived by: her husband Vernon Tackmier; her son Prof. Bill Tackmier (Dorcas) of Mequon; her grandchildren, Sam Tackmier and Maddie Helwig (Sam); her son Marc Tackmier (Janet) of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Mason Tackmier, Jenna Tackmier and Julia Wojcik (Phil); her daughter Kristi Cagle of Oconto; her grandchildren, Makinzi Meeks (Leo) and Meg Stellmacher (Damon); her daughter Jodene Thomson (Tim) of Abrams; her grandchildren, Casey Meyer (Trent) and Mikaela Thomson; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Behnke. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Grover or to Moments Hospice in Appleton.
