With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet J. Golz of Colby, Wisconsin, born in Athens, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 5, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hoge and Esther Hoge (Weise); her sisters, Norma Heier and Nila Koeller; and her brothers-in-law, Gordon Thurs, Sylvester Heier and Frank Koeller.

She is survived by: her close friend Roland Golz; her husband Rev. Roland Golz of Colby; her sons, Rick Golz (Carolyn) of Dorchester and Randy Golz (Renee) of Little Chute; her grandchildren, Neilana Golz (Logan), Leanna Golz (Jordan), Taylor Golz (Sara), Tanner Golz, Tallon Golz, Marina Mordeel and James Mordeel (Brianna); her great grandchildren, Paisley and Brynlee; and her sister Luann Thurs of Athens. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
