He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Felix Speltz and Helen Suzanne Arnoldy; his siblings, Gerald Jr., Alan, Rita Ebert (Jerome) and Catherine Suchla (Germane); his in-laws, Alphonse and Margaret Kronebusch; and his siblings-in-law, George Meirick, Gerald Ebert, Don Magnuson, Alphonse Kronebusch Jr. (Lauri) and Victoria Kronebusch.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kronebusch of Valentine's Day; his children, Charles (Janie), Steven (Cindy) and Jennifer Koch (Ben); his grandchildren, Cole, Caitlyn, Callie and Cassandra Speltz; his sisters, Carol Meirick, Mary Beth Pieper (Gerald), Deborah Pulles (Vincent) and Carmen Bertelsen (Alan); and his siblings-in-law, Germane Suchla, Lawrence Kronebusch (Shirley), Wayne Zabel (Patricia), Clifford Kronebusch (Deborah), Edward Schneider (Marcella), Elizabeth Speltz Magnuson, Janet Speltz, Lauri Kronebusch and Jeanette Dynes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
