He was predeceased by: his parents, Lisbeth V. Spencer and George H. Spencer; his brother Jonathan M. Spencer; and his sister-in-law Ann Spencer (Marshall). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Lenz of Cloverland; his son Kevin Putzke (Kerry) of Taichung; his grandchildren, Hunter Putzke (Maria Grandoni) and Katharina Putzke-Nevitt (Drew Nevitt); his great grandchild Tessa Julie Nevitt; and his sister Mary Spencer Caldwell (Larry Caldwell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
