He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Calvin Kienast; his children, Jessica Kienast of Clintonville, Kyle Kienast (Ashley) of Bonduel and Steven Kienast Jr. (Navid) of Shiocton; his grandchildren, Calvin, Nataly, Alison, Sofia, Rosemary and Helen; his mother Virginia Kienast of Waukesha; and his brothers, Scott Kienast of Dousman and Mark. He was also cherished by two nieces, many other relatives and friends.
