She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Burton and Margaret "Peg" Burton (Bronold); her husband Richard Shepherd of Texas; her siblings, Norman "Jim" Burton (Ann), Russell Burton (Vaughn), Neil Burton (Pat) and Rita Young (Delton); and her siblings-in-law, Delton Young, Arnold "Bud" Happerstett, Gretchen Burton and Ann Burton.
She is survived by: her brother Harold Burton Roy (Bonnie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
