She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick E. Lehne and Mae F. Lehne (Olson); her stepmother Lolo; her husband Mark L. Joy; and her siblings, Betty Reml and Carl Lehne.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Jacobson (Mike) of Eden Prairie, MN, Brad Joy (Alison) of Portland, OR and Chris Joy; and her grandchildren, Abigail, Brenan, Davis and Anders.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ruth's name are preferred to be directed to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
