He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Schmidt and Annetta Schmidt (Nero); his siblings, Frances Schmidt, Helen Krueger, Frederick, Harold, Junnie, Roy E. and Alvin Schmidt; his siblings-in-law, John Krueger, Betty Lund, Carol Schmidt, Dorothy Schmidt and Melly Schmidt; and his half-sisters, Martha Schmidt, Linda Westphal, Amanda Westphal, Doris Beyer, Clara Pautsch and Bernice Latchford.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Charlottle Schmidt of Juneau. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
