He was predeceased by: his wife Joy M. Hauser. He is survived by: his daughters, Teriann Hagen (LaVern), Lori Kowalske (Dan) and Patty Goto (Alan); and his grandchildren, Jenny Meiners (Jerry), Curt Hagen (Michelle), Brett Hagen (Lindsey), Daniel Kowalske Jr. (Sherri), Amy Ryan (Tim), Nicole Piskula (Randy), Christopher Kowalske (Jessica), Sara Olson (Eric) and Michael Goto. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)-SE Wisconsin Chapter would be appreciated.
